City of Pittsburgh COVID-19 Updates
The City of Pittsburgh – led by the Department of Public Safety – is working in consultation with the Allegheny County Health Department, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please stay alert for additional notifications and resources.
Allegheny County: Coronavirus
Allegheny County is working cooperatively to ensure residents and visitors are safe. The county will continue to provide updates and information on COVID-19 through Allegheny Alerts, social media pages and their website.
City/County Rental and Mortgage Assistance
While Governor Tom Wolf has extended protections for homeowners and renters from foreclosure or eviction through August 31, eligible residents of Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh should be aware they can apply for rental assistance if needed.
URA/Urban League Rent & Mortgage Assistance
The COVID-19 Housing Stabilization Fund is designed to provide short-term assistance to workers who have experienced a reduction in hours and are facing a financial hardship to pay rent and utilities.
URA Neighborhood Initiative Fund
NIF is intended to assist nonprofits (including government agencies) and community-based organizations with neighborhood-scale projects. These projects include efforts that encourage neighborhood investment through vacant property reclamation and stewardship, historic preservation, etc.

Presidential/PA Primary Update
In order to protect the health and safety of all voters, poll workers, and election officials while also ensuring access to voting, the legislature, Governor Wolf, and the Department of State worked together to pass legislation to reschedule the PA primary election to Tuesday, June 2nd.
